DISCLAIMER - the Protein-Disease Database
The NIMH-NCI common body fluid Protein-Disease Database
(PDD) system is currently being run as an experimental World Wide
Web server as part of the Image Processing Section of the NCI/FCRDC at
Frederick, MD.
The PDD uses a relational database and is designed to answer questions
regarding proteins, and their relative concentration with respect
disease or condition states as discussed in the literature. Protein
concentrations from the literature are recorded with the normal and
patient values for each protein-disease correlation. In addition, the
normalized fold-change concentrations of the proteins in the abnormal
state are also entered. Subsequent searches may be made based on
these features and their relations.
This server is under construction and will be undergoing constant
modifications and improvements. Please let us know if you have
comments or encounter problems when using it.
THE PROTEIN-DISEASE DATABASE SERVER AND ITS ASSOCIATED DATA ARE FOR
RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY, NOT FOR CLINICAL OR COMMERCIAL USE.
