Data Confidence

The amount of confidence we have in a dataset is based, in part, on the parameters used to run junctionScan as well as the version of junctionScan used. We have high confidence in data obtained with more stringent constraints. To say we have low confidence in the data obtained with less stringent constraints is untrue. Rather, we have less confidence in that data.

The junctions are numbered to differentiate between the two datasets, high and low confidence. Junctions obtained with more strict constraints are numbered beginning with 20,000. Junctions obtained with less strict constraints are numbered 1 to 20,000.
